Boldwood is delighted to announce their most recent author acquisitions – bringing the total number of writers on the list to 38. From bestselling British women’s fiction writers Jane Lovering and Giselle Green and Australian bestselling contemporary novelist Fiona Higgins via the well-reviewed and successful self-published authors Heather Atkinson and Mary Grand to the debut novel from the much-loved TV wine expert Helen McGinn, the Boldwood list continues to showcase the very best in commercial fiction from across the world. All authors have been contracted on multi-book deals and will be published in every format simultaneously in all English-language territories.
After a strong first quarter of 2020, the company is focusing on social media activity to support its multi-format offering and to take advantage of the stay-at-home economy. Their authors are participating in a programme of Boldwood Bedtime stories, sharing their animals’ antics in a #petsofisolation campaign and encouraging readers to #TravelBold and be transported virtually to more exotic climes courtesy of some brilliant escapist fiction. Since the end of March Boldwood have also been running weekly ‘gift a free ebook’ offers for NHS staff and other key workers from their own website.
