Boldwood announces further author acquisitions and new PR partnership

Boldwood is delighted to announce their next exciting author acquisitions – bringing the total number of authors on the list to 27. This new batch of Boldwood writers range from bestselling women’s fiction writers Claire Calman and Judy Leigh, via established crime authors Ross Greenwood and A L Howard, to exciting debuts in comic fiction Emma Murray and Freya Kennedy, and Boldwood’s first historical fiction writer Eleanor Porter. These authors join the wide-ranging Boldwood list – showcasing the very best in commercial fiction – and will be published in every format simultaneously in all English-language territories. All have been contracted on multi-book deals.

In order to ensure that Boldwood authors’ books reach the widest possible audience the company is collaborating closely with their audio partner, Ulverscroft, to engage their writers with the library sector and their millions of visitors through author events and roadshows. In addition Boldwood are delighted to announce a partnership with FMcM Associates who will be helping to promote a range of their authors through traditional media and most particularly on the crime festival circuit.

Amanda Ridout Founder and CEO comments: ‘I am excited that we are continuing to expand the Boldwood author portfolio with such an interesting and wide-ranging line-up – including our first male writers! We are pleased to have started publishing energetically and successfully from August with a number of e bestsellers across all English language territories already under our belts. We look forward to working closely with Sophie Goodfellow at FMcM to develop a media presence for several of our authors and to getting them out to engage with their readers in person as well as through the dynamic social media activity we are already undertaking.’
